KAWS: WHAT PARTY

The publication celebrates the exhibition hosted by Brooklyn Museum about the artist. In collaboration with Phaidon, the museum and the editorial join forces to release a book that chronicles a retrospective look from the artist’s work, from his early stage in graffiti to his groundbreaking projects in contemporary art. KAWS’ works straddles the line between fine aert and pop culture. The book, made in collaboration wih the artist, captures his talent as never before, including never seen imagery of the artist creative process. Essays by Daniel Birnbaum (art critic, curator and Director of Acute Art= & Eugenie Tsai (Senior Curator of Brooklyn Museum).
